In his eyes
I see love
Like a mirage
enticing thirst
that never
can be satiated.
In his eyes
I see love
Like a mirage
enticing thirst
that never
can be satiated.
Your eyes shower on me love
that is like mirage
It cannot slake my thirst
makes me more and more thirsty though
till I feel I have no strength anymore- to go on.

Can you believe
I actually tore up all my poems to fit in with him?
That was more suicide than any that I could have committed
Did not recognize it as such, at that time though
Remember you had once told me
When someone expects you to be something other than what you are
That is not Love
And now I understand fully well what that means.
If you should look out of your window now
You will see a clutch of black birds gliding around
in twisting and twirling patterns
Moving in unison
Now separating, now coming together
Turning as a body through angles
With wings molding flawlessly to their sides
All together so that at a particular point in the turn,
They all appear to blend into one.
They are so beautiful and graceful
Their flight looks like a ballet dance performance
They do this dance
Every evening
Just before dark
Every evening without fail
Come rain, shine or snow
Is it a dance, a celebration,
of coming together at the end of each day,
It is simply too joyous to be
Just a sacred daily ritual .
